LTB Adjudicator Order Wait Times 2026
Updated on February 8, 2026
How soon does LTB issue an eviction order after a hearing?
Once a hearing took place, an adjudicator has the sole discretion on how long they take to issue an order and how soon the tenancy is terminated if rent arrears are not paid. This table shows the median time for both of these periods. There is no explicit deadline for the first period. For the second period, 11 days is the default if no relief is granted.
* These adjudicators/members only issued orders without hearing. These orders are also known as Ex Parte orders - eviction orders when conditions from a previous order were not met.

Our analysis for each adjudicator is based on the following methodology:
- It is based on our current, non-exhaustive data covering the last 12 months
- Include only orders concerning L1 applications (non-payment of rent) where the tenant is still in possession on the order issuing date.
- We use the median as a representation for the metrics
- We update the time tracker as soon as we get more orders
