The Tenants' application is dismissed. While the Tenants proved the allegations of harassment, no compensation is ordered as the Tenants were already compensated for their moving costs through the 'cash for keys' agreement.
Tenants applied for an order determining that Landlords harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with them. Tenants vacated the rental unit after agreeing to sign an N11 and accept a 'cash for keys' offer of $4,950.00. Tenants claimed they were pressured and forced to move out due to Landlords' harassment.
Landlords denied harassing the Tenants and stated they were only engaged in a process of negotiations with them, as all sellers might, so that they could arrange a move out date and close on a sale.
Tenants vacated the rental unit on August 19, 2023, after agreeing to sign an N11 and accept a 'cash for keys' offer of $4,950.00.
