The Tenant's application is dismissed. The Landlord took reasonable steps to address the issues in an appropriately timely manner under the circumstances, and the Tenant failed to demonstrate that the Landlord breached its duties under subsection 20(1) of the Act.
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet its maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The application was based on issues with the kitchen sink, leaking vent, wall moisture, and mold.
