Hearing Date

Order Date

Tenancy End Date
Apr 2021
The tenancy is terminated effective April 3, 2021. The tenant must pay the landlord $9,610.90, which includes rent arrears up to the termination date and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by April 3, 2021, the tenant will start owing interest and the landlord may file the order for enforcement.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The tenant remained in possession of the rental unit on the application date.
Landlord made several attempts to contact the tenant by letter to discuss payment options, but received no response.
Tenant did not respond to landlord's attempts to contact them about the rent arrears.
