The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of February 28, 2023. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $4,165.30, which includes rent arrears owing up to the date the tenancy terminated, minus the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit.
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The application was resolved by order LTB-L-011207-23 issued on April 6, 2023. The Tenant requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved.
The Landlord advertised the rental unit on various websites in early December 2022 but was unable to re-rent the unit until March 2023.
The Tenant vacated the rental unit in December 2022 without providing a forwarding address.
