The tenancy is terminated effective October 18, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $14,810.14, which includes rent arrears, application fee, and NSF charges, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not vacate by October 18, 2024, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction. The Tenant will also owe $60.82 per day for use of the unit after October 19, 2024.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant requested a review of the original order and the order was stayed until the review was resolved.
Tenant acknowledged he cannot afford the rent due to reduced retirement income starting June 2023.
