The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated effective January 31, 2024. The Unauthorized Occupants shall move out by January 15, 2025. If they do not, the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction. The Unauthorized Occupants shall pay the Landlord $20,918.24 for use of the rental unit from January 31, 2024 to October 22, 2024, and $78.64 per day from October 23, 2024 until they move out, as well as the $201 application fee.
Due to the holiday season
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy of Tenant and evict Unauthorized Occupants because the Tenant transferred occupancy of the rental unit to the Unauthorized Occupants without the Landlords' consent. The Landlords also applied for compensation by the Unauthorized Occupants for the use of the rental unit.
Landlord determined it was no longer economically viable to own the property due to high interest rates, and agreed with Tenant to terminate the tenancy effective January 31, 2024.
Tenant vacated the rental unit on January 31, 2024, but the Unauthorized Occupants refused to move out.
