The Landlord proved the grounds for the claim for compensation. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $10,960.15, which includes $10,774.15 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and replacing the damaged property, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 24, 2024, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay for reasonable out-of-pocket costs to repair or replace undue damage to the rental unit caused wilfully or negligently by the Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex.
