The Review Order is replaced with a new order where the Tenant owes the Landlord $8,290.35 as of October 31, 2024, and the Tenant shall pay $533.18 per week for 18 months starting November 1, 2024. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord can apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant filed a consumer proposal on December 22, 2023, and the Landlord delivered an N4 notice on January 4, 2024 for $1,460.68 in rent arrears for January 2024. The initial order was reviewed due to the Tenant not receiving notice of the original hearing, and the review order was further reviewed by the LTB.
