The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $35,186.00, which includes $35,000.00 in rent arrears up to November 30, 2023 and $186.00 in application filing fees. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 19, 2024, the Tenant will start owing interest at 7.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
Tenant did not pay rent for October and November 2023 as ordered, claiming the Landlord did not provide instructions on how to pay.
