The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants terminated on March 5, 2021. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $35,000.00, which represents the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and/or replacing the damaged property. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before May 23, 2023, the Tenants will start to owe interest at a rate of 6.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to various issues, including damage to the rental unit, illegal acts, safety impairment, undue damage, and inconsistent use of the rental unit.
Tenants ripped out walls, built walls, ruined floors, railings, carpets and the roof.
