The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2023. The Tenants must pay $22,836 by August 15, 2023 to void the eviction order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenants do not pay, they must vacate the unit by August 15, 2023 and pay $13,893.60 plus daily compensation of $83.84 per day starting May 16, 2023.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and the Landlord's need for personal use of the rental unit. The Landlord served valid N4 and N12 notices, and the Tenants did not void the notices by paying the arrears or vacating the unit.
Tenants do not dispute the rent arrears owed and seek only additional time to find alternative housing.
