Tenancy End Date
Apr 2024
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $14,131.84 by March 31, 2024 or $15,418.85 by April 1, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must move out by April 1, 2024 and pay the Landlord $11,849.62, plus daily compensation of $42.31 from March 8, 2024 until they move out.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
Landlord requested a standard termination order due to substantial rent arrears.
Landlord's representative stated the Landlord reached out numerous times but the Tenants only offered $100 per month, which is highly prejudicial.
Tenants proposed a $100 per month payment plan or requested 90 days to pay arrears or find alternative housing.
Tenants stated they do not dispute the rent arrears but do not want to move out.
