The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant for non-payment of rent is granted. The Tenant may void the order by paying $19,763.46 on or before May 14, 2024. If the Tenant does not void the order, the Tenant must vacate the unit by May 14, 2024 and pay the Landlord $14,537.40 plus daily compensation.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.
Tenant testified that he fell behind on other bills, sought Rent Bank assistance, and his brother is now handling his finances.
