The tenants shall pay the landlord $326, which includes rent arrears and the cost of the application. The tenants shall pay this amount in installments over 21 months, with the remaining balance due by July 1, 2025. If the tenants do not pay the amount owing by the due dates, the full amount will become due and the tenants will start to owe interest.
The landlord applied for an order requiring the tenants to pay the rent they owed. The tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
The tenants raised issues with the failure of the boiler and the increased cost of heating.
