The Landlord shall pay the Tenant $73.00, which includes $25.00 for the Tenant's time spent repairing the malfunctioning kitchen faucet and $48.00 for the cost of filing the application. The Tenant's request to amend the application to include other issues was denied due to lack of notice to the Landlord.
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, or failed to comply with health, safety, housing, or maintenance standards. The issues raised by the Tenant included a malfunctioning kitchen faucet, recurring flooding in the unit, interference and harassment by the Landlord, and the Landlord's failure to clear snow from the driveway.
Tenant attempted to fix the malfunctioning kitchen faucet after a week's delay by the Landlord.
