The Appellant, Marco Teixeira, appealed an eviction order issued by the Landlord and Tenant Board due to non-payment of rent. The Court ordered the tenant to pay $10,000 towards the arrears by November 19, 2021, but the tenant failed to do so. As a result, the Court lifted the stay on the eviction order, allowing the landlords to proceed with the enforcement of the eviction.
