The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant has abandoned the rental unit. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by October 22, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
Landlord applied for an order terminating the tenancy of Tenant and evicting the Tenant because he has abandoned the rental unit.
Landlord entered the unit on July 21, 2021 and observed signs of abandonment, including a disconnected and open refrigerator. Landlord also received an anonymous call on September 15, 2021 indicating the caller had the Tenant's keys to return to the Landlord.
