The tenant shall pay the landlord $7.40 for the cost of filing the application. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by June 6, 2023, the tenant will start owing interest at 6.0% annually on the outstanding balance.
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to non-payment of rent. The tenant made a payment the day before the hearing that satisfied all but $7.40 of the arrears and the cost of filing the application.
The landlord's N4 notice was not properly served, as the certificate of service was unsigned and the server was not available to attend the hearing.
