The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay $13,176.33 plus $26.30 per day starting July 9, 2021. If the Tenant pays $13,786 by July 31, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant fell into arrears during the COVID-19 pandemic and was in the process of trying to get his shelter allowance reinstated from ODSP.
Landlord opposed Tenant's repayment plan because arrears of $12,000 were causing financial hardship and 10-year repayment plan was unfair.
Landlord knocked on Tenant's door around 1st of each month but Tenant did not answer.
