Tenancy End Date

We estimate Application Date using rent arrears.
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the arrears. The Tenant has until February 28, 2023, to pay $10,247.60 to preserve the tenancy. If not paid, the Tenant must vacate by February 28, 2023, and pay $6,397.15 plus $51.57 per day from January 18, 2023, until move-out.
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant, a pensioner, claimed financial difficulties but expected a lump sum pension payment in the near future. The Board postponed the eviction to give the Tenant an opportunity to pay the arrears.
Landlord's Legal Representative objected to the Tenant's excuse, stating that the same reason had been given before.
Landlord's Legal Representative stated that the superintendent spoke directly with the Tenant about payment plans.
Tenant argued that she expects a lump sum pension payment from another country in the next month or two, which requires her husband's signature and takes months to process.
Tenant claimed to never have received payment plan letters from the Landlord. Tenant stated she is a pensioner with insufficient income to sustain the tenancy or pay off rent arrears.
